Every person, regardless of their ability to pay, deserves quality care.

Our talented home health team tailors every patient’s plan of care to their specific needs. Some patients only require a few days or weeks of care, while others need long-term care for chronic illnesses such as COPD, diabetes or heart disease. Whatever a patient’s needs are, they will be met by compassionate, skilled clinicians in the comfort of the patient’s home.

Hospice is an end-of-life care philosophy to help people with a life-limiting illness stay comfortably at home. At VNA Hospice, we are committed to compassionate care at the highest level, with a focus on quality of life; for us, hospice is about living fully. VNA Hospice Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team comprised of a medical director, attending physician, registered nurse, home health aides, social workers, bereavement specialists, music therapists and volunteers.

Providing care for all

Over 40 years ago, a group of dedicated volunteers founded the VNA to provide excellent home-based care in our community. They made a promise that this compassionate, innovative, high-quality care would be available to every person in need, regardless of their ability to afford their care. Decades later, this initiative still stands due to the support of our generous donors. The VNA is the only local home healthcare and hospice agency that accepts all patients regardless of their ability to pay. Your donations to the VNA & Hospice Foundation make it possible for the VNA to provide charitable nursing care, rehabilitation therapy, end-of-life care and other home care services to the under or un-insured residents in our community.

The nurses are amazing. They came every other day, and would even call on their day off to make sure I was doing okay. I would like to thank them for how helpful and caring they were.
