Honor a VNA Caregiver
Maybe it was a nurse who went above and beyond for you and your family. Or perhaps it was a comforting smile you needed during a difficult time. Or maybe a volunteer knew exactly what you and your family needed. The Honor a Caregiver Program allows you to celebrate caregivers who cared for you or your family when you needed it most. This program is a special way for you to say thank you to those VNA nurses, counselors and therapists who have made an impact on your life or the lives of your loved ones.
Helping others receive care
Gifts to Honor a Caregiver ensure that all individuals and families will receive care from the VNA regardless of their financial standing. Since its inception, the VNA has provided charitable care to patients in need of quality home health and hospice care. Contributions to Honor a Caregiver support these efforts, help provide funding to purchase special equipment and medications for patients who cannot afford it and help offset the costs of the VNA Hospice House.
Once a gift is received, the VNA & Hospice Foundation will send an acknowledgement to the appropriate individual, family member or VNA employee or volunteer so he or she knows of your grateful donation. Dollar amounts will be kept confidential.
“The people here really, really care. I’m just grateful that the VNA is here.”Dennis H.
