Keeping our community healthy is our priority.

VNA Community Health Services is supported through the VNA & Hospice Foundation and provides access to same day, non-emergency care, health education, COVID-19 testing, school physicals and a variety of other resources throughout our community.

On almost any day of the week, nurses aboard the VNA Mobile Health Clinic can be found throughout Indian River County offering free blood pressure and glucose screenings. This simple community outreach effort goes a long way in offering an easy, no-cost solution to anyone who wants to keep an eye on their health.

Shoo the Flu with the VNA

Each flu season, the VNA offers flu shots to our community in hopes of keeping our friends, family members and co-workers healthy during flu season. The VNA also offers a free flu shot to anyone who does not have insurance or is unable to cover the cost of a flu shot.

VNA Mobile Health Clinic brings healthcare to some of our community’s most vulnerable neighborhoods

In collaboration with the Indian River County Hospital District, the VNA Mobile Health Clinic goes into neighborhoods throughout our community to bring affordable healthcare to those who are under or uninsured. Advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) aboard the VNA Mobile Health Clinic can examine, diagnose and prescribe medications for minor, non-urgent illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, sore throats, earaches and minor cuts. Some of the most common conditions include:

      • Respiratory infections
      • Eye and ear infections
      • Minor cuts and wounds
      • Colds and flu
      • Skin infections and rashes
