Supporting a vital and unique community resource.

The VNA Hospice House was built for the sole purpose of providing quality end-of-life care and support to the residents of our community in a compassionate, serene, home like setting regardless of their ability to afford their care.

Lining the hallway of the VNA Hospice House is a tribute to those donors who have contributed a significant amount to our Hospice House Endowment Fund. The Hospice House Endowment Fund was established in 2003 with a transformational $1 million gift from the L.W. Pierce Family Foundation. This fund helps keep the VNA Hospice House open, with annual earnings distributions assisting to fund the day-to-day expenses of the facility. The endowment is a financial vehicle that assures VNA and the community that there will be funding available to keep the VNA Hospice House open to those who need hospice care when it can no longer be managed at home. A minimum contribution of $5,000 to the VNA Hospice House Endowment Fund provides for your tribute to be placed on the Endowment Wall, commemorating your commitment to the VNA’s mission.
